PROMOSI TANAH
Pulau Sumba terletak di barat daya Propinsi NTT, tepatnya berjarak sekitar 96 KM di sebelah selatan Pulau Flores, 295 Km disebelah Barat Daya pulau Timor dan 1.125 Km disebelah Barat Laut Darwin Australia. Pulau ini berada di Busur luar kepulauan Nusa Tenggara dan pada busur tersebut Pulau Sumba terletak antara pulau Sumbawa dan pulau Timor.
Secara astronimis Sumba Timur membentang antara 119°45' - 120°52' BT dan 9°16' - 10°20' LS.
Batas wilayah Kabupaten Sumba Timur adalah :
Utara : Selat Sumba
Selatan : Samudra Hindia
Barat : Kabupaten Sumba Tengah
Timur : Laut Sabu
keterangan mengenai tanah yang akan dijual :
Lokasi tanah : Kecamatan Haharu - yang terletak disebelah selatan kabupaten Sumba Timur,nama tempat tanah tersebut Landa 4 ( Kanatang ).
Luas tanah : 12 Ha
Adapun tanaman yang tumbuh di lokasi tanah tersebut seperti pohon Kesambi,Waru hutan dan lain lain
Warna tanah terdiri dari hitam dan merah dan di seberang tanah tersebut terdapat Lautan luas.
Pada sektor Pertanian, tanah tersebut digunakan sebagai ladang padi (sawah), ladang jagung, ladang ubi kayu, ladang kacang seperti : Methe dan kacang hijau.

Well to the South West of the main East Nusa Tenggara chain, lies Sumba, an island about 96 Km Southern of Flores and about 295 Km South West of Timor and 1.125 Km North West of Darwin – Australia. Lying on the Southern ring of Nusa Tenggara archipelago, Sumba stands quletly between Sumbawa and Timor the territory of East Sumba stretches from 119°45' - 120°52' East longitude and 9°16' - 10°20' South latitude.
East Sumba borders Sumba straits at the North, Indian ocean at at the South, middle of Sumba regency at the West and Sabu sea at the East. The soil located at Hahara district that lies South of East Sumba.
The place of the soil it named Londay (Kanatang).
The soil wide = 12 Ha, there’s a plant will be growth at there soil like : an iron wood’s tree (Schlelchera Oleosa), Hibiscus it called Kandinu (Waru Hutan)
The colour of soil consist of black and red.
A cross of the soil there’s an ocean.
In agriculture sector, the soil can be used as the ricefield, the cornfield, The Cassava Manioc Field , The Peanut Field such as : Cashews, Green Peanut.
